We bring the container to you, and make placement easy
Typical turnaround time: 3-5 business days from booking during our busy season (Spring through Fall).
Need it sooner? We’re known for our fast service and can-do attitude. Let us know your timeline, and we’ll do everything we can to meet it.
Pro tip: Book at least a week in advance to guarantee your preferred delivery date.
Scheduling your delivery
When you book, we’ll ask for your desired delivery date. If it’s available, we’ll lock it in. If not, we’ll find the closest alternative that works for you.
The day before delivery, our office will call to confirm your delivery appointment.
Day of delivery: Our driver will call when loaded up and headed your way.
What to expect on delivery day
Delivery takes 15 minutes or less! Here’s how it works:
- Driver arrives with your container on a tilt-bed truck or gooseneck trailer
- Backs into your site and tilts the bed to place the rear of the container on the ground
- Sets blocking, we provide the wood blocks to level your container
- Pulls straight out from under the container until the front rests on blocks
- Shows you how the doors work and answers any questions
- Heads out, you’re ready to start storing!

Can’t be there? We can deliver to a well-marked site with no customer present if needed.
After delivery, our office will call you for feedback and to ensure your delivery was nothing short of exceptional!
Delivery space & surface requirements
We deliver using two types of equipment, depending on container size:
For 20′ containers
- Tow truck with tilt bed (rollback)
- OR pickup truck with 22′ gooseneck trailer
- Space needed: 65 feet in a straight line
For 40′ containers
- Pickup truck or cab & chassis with 43′ gooseneck trailer
- Space needed: 120 feet in a straight line + space for the truck to turn into the site
Surface requirements, we work with what you have
Good surfaces: Gravel, dirt, grass, pavement, they all work, as long as the surface is dry and firm.
What doesn’t work: Wet or muddy surfaces (our truck will get stuck).
Not perfectly level? Not necessarily a problem! We can work with sloping sites and most often find a way to get your container in and level. We’ll bring our own wood blocks to level your rental container. Extreme hills, drop-offs, or outrageous terrain excluded.
Steep driveway? Ask yourself: Do you get regular package, oil, or propane deliveries with trucks coming up your driveway? If yes, we can most likely get in too.
Winter deliveries:
- Driveways must be plowed AND sanded for our truck
- Exceptionally steep driveways with sharp turns may require scheduling for warmer weather
- The container site must be plowed and sanded to allow for safe delivery and pickup
Our drivers are here to help
Our drivers are container delivery experts. Not sure where a container will fit? They’ll be glad to discuss your options on-site and select a mutually agreeable location. We do our best to place the container in the most convenient spot for your needs based on site conditions.
Before booking, our office will discuss your site with you. Have concerns? We can review photos and videos of your site to better assist you.
Step 3: Pack, Store & Extend
Your container, your timeline
After delivery, you can start storing right away!
Getting started with your container
Opening your container:
Watch: How to open container doors →
Pro tip: Always lock the right door when closing up your container; you’ll open that one first.
Now sit back and enjoy the convenience of extra storage space right outside your door!
Flexible rental terms, no surprises
Billing cycle: Every 28 days from your delivery date (not your booking date!)
Minimum rental: One month (included in your first bill)
After that: Month-to-month lease with no maximum term
Extending your rental is automatic
No phone calls needed! Your lease automatically renews until you call us to schedule pickup. Simply pay your next bill, or better yet, set up autopay and forget about it.
Billing cycle reminders: Your current billing cycle dates are on every invoice. You can always call our office if you’d like to confirm when your cycle ends.
Step 4: Pickup or Return
Easy pickup when you’re done
Ready for your container to be picked up? Simply call our office!
Our pickup checklist
We’ll ask a few quick questions to make sure everything goes smoothly:
Is the container:
- ☐ Empty?
- ☐ Unlocked?
- ☐ Accessible? (Nothing parked in front, leaning against, on top of, or inside it)
Winter only:
- ☐ Is your driveway plowed and sanded?
- ☐ Has snow been cleared from all 4 sides and on top of the container?
Timing questions:
- Do you need a call ahead when the driver is on the way?
- Do you have specific time restrictions?
We do everything up front in one phone call to make sure you’re prepared for pickup, no surprises for you or our drivers!
No surprise fees at pickup
You’ve already paid your pickup fee upfront when you booked; no additional fees are due when you’re done. What a relief!
Important timing note: Call at least 48 hours before the end of your billing cycle to schedule pickup, so you’re not charged for the next cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Container & Capacity
Q: What size container do I need?
Most homeowners choose a 20′ container, which holds the contents of a 2-3 bedroom home. Contractors and commercial customers often need a 40′ container for double the capacity. We’re happy to discuss your specific needs and help you choose the right size.
Q: What fits in a 20′ container vs. a 40′ container?
A 20′ container holds approximately 1,170 cubic feet, enough for a 2-3 bedroom home. A 40′ container doubles that capacity.
Q: Are the containers weatherproof?
Yes! All our containers are all-steel with rubber seals around the doors to prevent pest intrusion and weather damage. They also have factory-installed venting to prevent condensation.
Q: Can I access my items anytime?
Absolutely! Since the container is on your property, you have 24/7 access. You provide your own lock and keep the only key.
Delivery & Placement
Q: How much space do I need?
20′ containers need 65 feet in a straight line. 40′ containers need 120 feet in a straight line plus turning space.
Q: What if my driveway is steep or narrow?
Our drivers are experts at navigating challenging sites. If you get regular package, oil, or propane deliveries, we can likely get in too. We can review photos/videos of your site before booking.
Q: Can you deliver in winter?
Yes! We deliver 12 months a year. Winter deliveries require plowed and sanded driveways. Exceptionally steep driveways may need to wait for warmer weather.
Q: What surfaces work for container placement?
Gravel, dirt, grass, and pavement all work, as long as the surface is dry and firm. We provide wood blocks for leveling.
Billing & Terms
Q: How does the monthly billing work?
You’re billed every 28 days from your delivery date. Your first bill includes the one-month minimum. After that, it’s month-to-month with no maximum term.
Q: What if I need the container longer than expected?
No problem! Your lease automatically renews monthly. Just continue paying your bill (or set up autopay). Call us when you’re ready for pickup.
Q: Are there any hidden fees?
No! 98% of our customers pay only their quoted rates. Delivery, pickup, monthly rent, taxes, and insurance are all disclosed upfront. See our full fee schedule in the lease agreement.
Q: Do I need insurance?
Yes, we require contents insurance. You can provide proof from an existing policy or purchase coverage starting at $12.25/month through our office.
Pickup & Return
Q: How do I schedule pickup?
Just call our office! We’ll ask a few quick questions (Is it empty? Unlocked? Accessible?) and schedule your pickup. Call at least 48 hours before your billing cycle ends to avoid charges for the next cycle.
Q: Do I pay anything extra at pickup?
No! Your pickup fee was charged when you booked. No surprise fees when you’re done.
Q: What if I need to keep it longer than I thought?
Your lease automatically renews monthly. Just keep paying your monthly bill until you’re ready for pickup.
